
Air Fryer Egg Rolls
Crispy, golden egg rolls filled with seasoned ground pork and crunchy vegetables β made lighter in the air fryer without sacrificing any of the crunch. Serve with duck sauce, plum sauce, or soy sauce for dipping.

Instructions
- Heat 15 ml of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground pork and break it apart with a spatula or wooden spoon as it cooks. Cook until the meat is fully cooked through, about 6β8 minutes.
- Add the crushed garlic, 15 ml of grated ginger, the grated medium carrot, chopped scallions, and 720 ml of shredded cabbage. Stir regularly and continue cooking until the cabbage has wilted and softened, another 3β4 minutes. Season with 15 ml of soy sauce and 15 ml of rice vinegar, then remove from the heat and allow the filling to cool completely. The filling can be prepared in advance and refrigerated.
- Place one egg roll wrapper on a clean, dry surface with one corner pointing toward you, like a diamond. Spoon about 60 ml of filling into the centre of the wrapper. Lightly wet your fingers and run them around the edges of the wrapper. Fold the left and right corners in over the filling, then fold the bottom corner up and roll the wrapper away from you into a tight cylinder. Set aside and repeat until all the filling is used β you should get at least 12 egg rolls.
- Arrange the egg rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they do not touch each other so that air can circulate freely. Lightly brush or spray them with oil. Set the air fryer to 175Β°C (350Β°F) and cook for 6β7 minutes. Flip the egg rolls, brush or spray the other side with oil, and cook for a further 4β5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- If you do not have an air fryer, pour enough oil into a deep-sided skillet so it reaches about 1.5 cm up the sides. Heat over medium-high heat to 175Β°C (350Β°F). Fry the egg rolls for 3β4 minutes per side until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
- Serve the egg rolls immediately with duck sauce, plum sauce, or soy sauce on the side.
