
Silken Tofu with Sesame Soy Sauce
A simple yet elegant dish of silky tofu draped in a savoury sesame soy sauce, finished with fresh scallions and toasted sesame seeds. Ready in minutes, it works beautifully as a light appetiser or side.

Silken Tofu⚖ 473.2 g 💧 450.7 ml 🥛 1.9 cup

Chinese Sesame Sauce⚖ 29.6 g 💧 29.6 ml 🥄 2 tbsp

Sesame Seed⚖ 7.4 g 💧 9.9 ml 🥄 2 tsp

Soy Sauce⚖ 53.2 g 💧 44.4 ml 🥄 3 tbsp

Instructions
- Drain the tofu and gently remove it from its packaging onto a large plate. Carefully slice the tofu into 1.5 cm slabs widthwise, then use the palm of your hand to gently fan the slices out across the plate.
- Drizzle the soy sauce (45 ml) and sesame sauce (30 ml) evenly over the tofu. Garnish with the sliced scallions and sesame seeds (2 tsp) and serve immediately.
- Tightly cover any leftovers and refrigerate for up to 2 days. Enjoy cold straight from the fridge, or reheat by microwaving in 30-second increments until warmed through.
