
Falafel
Crispy homemade falafel patties made with chickpeas, warming spices and fresh parsley. Perfect served hot or cold with couscous, pitta bread or a fresh salad.

Ground Corianderβ 2.5 g π§ 4.9 ml π₯ 1 tsp

Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large pan and fry the chopped onion and crushed garlic over a low heat for 5 minutes until softened. Tip into a large mixing bowl with the chickpeas (400 g) and spices, then mash together with a fork or potato masher until the chickpeas are completely broken down. Stir in the parsley and season to taste, then add the beaten egg and bring the mixture together with your hands.
- Shape the mixture into 6 balls and flatten each into a patty. Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil in the pan and fry the falafel over a medium heat for 3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and firm. Serve hot or cold with couscous, pitta bread or salad.
