
Turkish-Style Lamb Pitta
Juicy grilled lamb smothered in herbed yogurt, stuffed into warm pitta bread with fresh salad and a squeeze of lemon. A quick and flavourful dish inspired by Turkish street food.

Instructions
- Heat the grill to high. Season the lamb, then grill for 2 minutes on each side until browned but still very rare. Meanwhile, mix the seasoning, dried oregano and half of the mint into 150g of yogurt, then smother this mixture over the lamb. Return to the grill for another 2β3 minutes, or until the yogurt is blistered and the meat is cooked to your liking.
- Leave the meat to rest on a board for a few minutes while you toast the pitta breads, shred the lettuce and thinly slice the red onion. Stir the remaining mint into the other 150g of yogurt. Thickly slice the rested lamb and stuff it into the pitta breads along with the shredded lettuce, red onion and minted yogurt. Squeeze over fresh lemon juice before serving.
