
Drinking Chocolate
A rich, indulgent hot chocolate made with real dark chocolate and warm spices, topped with freshly whipped cream. Perfect for a cosy treat any time of day.

Instructions
- Combine 60 ml of heavy cream and 180–240 ml of milk in a small saucepan along with a cinnamon stick and a vanilla bean split lengthwise. Heat over very low heat for 15–20 minutes, allowing the spices to infuse gently — do not boil. If you don't have a vanilla bean, skip this step and stir in 5–10 ml of vanilla extract after heating.
- Remove the cinnamon stick and vanilla bean. Add 60 g of finely chopped dark chocolate to the hot liquid and whisk until fully melted and smooth. For a richer version, use 120 ml each of milk and cream with 120 g of chocolate.
- Pour into a coffee mug and top generously with freshly whipped cream. Serves 1–2.
