
Thai Iced Coffee
A refreshing chilled coffee with a fragrant hint of cardamom, served over ice with a beautiful layer of floating cream.

Instructions
- Brew a strong pot of black coffee. Before brewing, mix 2–3 freshly ground cardamom pods into the ground coffee. Sweeten the coffee to taste while it is still hot, then cool it down quickly — for example by pouring it over a large bowl of ice or refrigerating it.
- Fill a highball glass with ice and pour in the cooled coffee. To achieve the signature layered effect, rest a spoon face-down on top of the coffee and pour the cream slowly over the back of the spoon so that it floats gently on the surface rather than mixing in. Serve immediately.
