
Coffee-Vodka Liqueur
A rich homemade coffee liqueur with hints of vanilla, crafted by infusing vodka with a sweetened coffee syrup over three weeks. Smooth, aromatic, and perfect for sipping or using in cocktails.

Instructions
- Combine 480 ml of water and 400 g of white sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved. Remove from heat and gradually stir in 50 g of instant coffee until completely incorporated. Allow the mixture to cool completely.
- Split half a vanilla bean lengthwise and add it to 360 ml of vodka. Once the coffee syrup is fully cooled, combine it with the vanilla-infused vodka and add a small amount of caramel colouring to achieve the desired colour. Transfer to a tightly sealed jar or bottle.
- Shake the mixture vigorously once a day for 3 weeks to allow the flavours to meld and develop. After 3 weeks, strain and filter the liqueur through a fine sieve or cheesecloth to remove the vanilla bean and any sediment. For a smoother texture, stir in approximately 5 ml of food-grade glycerine before bottling. Store in a sealed bottle.
