
Homemade Kahlúa
A rich and aromatic homemade coffee liqueur with deep vanilla notes. Best enjoyed after several weeks of maturing for a smooth, well-rounded flavour.

Corn syrup⚖ 319.4 g 💧 236.6 ml 🥛 1 cup

Vanilla extract⚖ 59.1 g 💧 67.2 ml 🥄 4½ tbsp

Sugar⚖ 30 g 💧 35.3 ml 🥄 2⅓ tbsp

Instructions
- Dissolve 500 g of sugar in 240 ml of boiling water, then stir in 240 ml of corn syrup until fully combined. In the remaining 240 ml of boiling water, dissolve 45 g of instant coffee.
- Pour both the syrup mixture and the coffee into a large gallon jug and stir to combine. Allow the mixture to cool completely to room temperature.
- Once cold, add approximately 750 ml of vodka and 60 ml of vanilla extract, then stir well. Seal the jug and store in a cool, dark place. For the best result, allow the liqueur to mature for 4–5 weeks before serving.
