
Tia Maria
A homemade coffee liqueur with rich notes of rum and vanilla. Let it rest for a week to develop its full, smooth flavour.

Vanilla extract⚖ 17.4 g 💧 19.7 ml 🥄 1⅓ tbsp

Brown sugar⚖ 3 g 💧 3.4 ml 🥄 ⅔ tsp

Instructions
- Combine 240 ml of water, 150–200 g of brown sugar, and 20 ml of ground coffee in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes, then remove from heat and allow to cool completely.
- Once cooled, stir in 240 ml of rum and 20 ml of vanilla extract. Pour the mixture through a fine strainer into a clean bottle or bottles. Seal and leave to rest for at least 1 week before serving.
