
Sweet Sangria
A refreshing and fruity red wine sangria with fresh citrus and apple, sweetened with a homemade simple syrup. Perfect for sharing on a warm day.

Instructions
- Dissolve 200 g of sugar in 480 ml of hot water, stirring until fully dissolved, then set aside to cool to room temperature.
- Peel the orange, lime, and lemon and cut them into wedges. Dice approximately 150 g of apple into bite-sized pieces.
- Combine the two bottles of red wine, the cooled sugar syrup, and all the prepared fruit in a large pitcher. Top with Fresca to taste and stir gently to combine. Refrigerate for at least a few hours to allow the flavours to meld.
- Serve over ice in tall glasses with a straw, making sure each glass gets some of the macerated fruit.
