A layered shooter with peppermint schnapps, Kahlúa, and Baileys Irish Cream that tastes just like a Peppermint Pattie. Best served chilled and downed all at once for a bold, minty kick.
Ingredients
- Peppermint schnapps
- Kahlua
- Baileys irish cream
Instructions
- Chill all ingredients thoroughly before preparing the shot.
- Pour Kahlúa into a shot glass until it is about half full. Using an inverted spoon held just above the Kahlúa, slowly pour in the peppermint schnapps so that it flows beneath the Kahlúa, forming a clear bottom layer. Fill the glass to about three-quarters full.
- Place a spoon right-side up at the top of the Kahlúa layer and slowly pour Baileys Irish Cream over it, raising the spoon as the glass fills. Done carefully, the Baileys will float on top as a distinct third layer.
- Down the shot all at once to enjoy the full Peppermint Pattie effect.
